“Black Friday” ArtWalk Offers Alternative Holiday Shopping Madness!

Downtown Charleston’s ArtWalk on the Friday after Thanksgiving (aka “Black Friday”) from 5pm to 8pm has become a Holiday tradition in the Kanawha Valley.

This year’s event promises to be the biggest ever – with 19 venues – and offers Holiday shoppers an alternative to “Black Friday Madness” and the opportunity to support Charleston’s small businesses and artists! We hope to see you there!

Brogan sums up his philosophy of art simply: “To me, fun is what art is about, pure and simple. I do it because I love it.”

This is Glen Brogan’s second show at The Purple Moon and promises to be as fun as the first!

In addition, The Purple Moon will feature the usual plethora of vintage and contemporary art, mid-century home furnishings, the best selection of vintage West Virginia art glass in the state and, as usual for the Holiday season, vintage aluminum Christmas trees!

Will feature the jewelry of Deborah Davis.

Deborah Davis is a popular Charleston jewelry designer known for her fabulous, original creations.

Her work features necklaces and earrings both bold and demure. Known for her use of organic stones such as turquoise, coral and various quartz stones and crystals. Deborah also utilizes man-made materials, such as acrylic, Lucite and wire to create her unique pieces.

Deborah has taken a break from her jewelry shows the past year so House of Luxe is more than pleased and excited to announce the showing of her most recent collection.

The show will run November 19th – December 15th with an opening reception during November 23rd ArtWalk.
